designing systems for users worldwide,
and studying how people engage with them.

I like working with people who care about the outcome, taking on real challenges that help us grow.

I grew up in Thuringia, in what’s often called the green heart of Germany.
I studied product design at Burg Giebichenstein in Halle an der Saale, and later continued with an MA at the Royal College of Art in London.

After graduating, I didn’t settle in one place. I moved through different contexts and cultures. My first longer residence abroad was in Japan for an internship, followed by time in Spain as an au pair, then Rotterdam for a graduate internship at an interdisciplinary design studio. From there to London for my MA, then Cairo, back to London, on to Morocco, and eventually back to the UK.

Early on, I worked closely with cultural and research-led institutions like the V&A, Goldsmiths, the British Council, and the Goethe-Institut in Cairo. That work was often supported by research grants and focused on human behaviour and cultural context. Over time, the focus of my work expanded rather than shifted. I’ve continued to build on that foundation while moving more into industry, bringing those perspectives into my product design practice.

Today, my work sits across B2B, and both public and private sector organisations, often at an enterprise level. I’m interested in making sure users are part of the process of shaping the products they use. At the same time, I think it matters that business and technical teams are part of the same conversation.

I’m drawn to complex problems, especially where different mental models need to come together. There’s something particular about seeing a user, especially an expert or niche user, recognise themselves in a solution. You can see it in their expression.

Outside of work, I spend time surfing and free diving, drawing, and travelling.
